Waynetown - Mrs. Ida A. Works, 85, died at 3:05 a.m. Monday at Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She had been in failing health for four years and had been in serious condition at the hospital for the week. She was born near Alamo Sept 23, 1879, the daughter of William and Sarah Stonebraker Titus. She was married to Calvin Works May 29, 1901, in Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church and Sunday School. She and her husband lived for the past 53 years on their farm 4 miles southwest of Waynetown. She was the lst of 10 children. Survivors include her husband, a son-in-law, Henry Wood of Waynetown; a granddaughter, Mrs. Sara Booher of Rt 1, Clarks Hill; two great grandchildren, Daniel and Penelope Booher and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Works was preceded in death by a daughter and a grandson. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
