Elmer Jasper Workinger, 54, a resident of Attica most of his life died Sunday at his home in Indianapolis. He was born May 21, 1904 at Attica son of Samuel and Mary Best Workinger and was married in 1927 to Nina Reatha Meers. Mrs. Workinger was a member of the Christian Church of Attica and had been employed as a cutter in the Singer Factory. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Ira Williams of Mellott; a son, Thomas of Chicago; his mother, Mrs. Mary Workinger Largent and a sister Mrs. William Gooden of Attica. Services were held Tuesday with burial in Riverside Cemetery. – kbz
