WORK, Angelina Fletcher

Waynetown - The funeral services of Mrs. Angelina Works (sic - Work) who died Monday was held this afternoon at the home four miles south of town and was conducted by elder P.J. Lough. Mrs. Works was born in Green County, Ohio Sept 12, 1842 and was 72 years 4 months 5 days old at her death. She came to Indiana from Ohio when 12 and was married to Robert Works on 22 June 1867. To this union were born three sons, Howard, Clayton and Calvin all of whom are grown and married. Besides the husband, sons and their wives there are 4 grandchildren, Hurly, Dot, Albert and Ruth. Mrs. Works' maiden name was Fletcher. She was a daughter of William and Sophia Fletcher. she was one of a family of 10 children, her 3 brothers, Calvin, Granville, Harlow and two sisters, Mrs. John Harper and Mrs. Alva Glascock preceding her in death. Mr s. Isaac Follick, Mrs. John Steele, Mrs. Charley Huckery and Mrs. Frank Furr are the sisters left to mourn. The body was placed at rest in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown.
