KINGMAN, Ind. – Mrs. Elsie Wooten, 37, of
						Kingman, died unexpectedly at her home at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 1971. She
						was born Nov. 23, 1935, in Cayuga, the daughter of Lewis and Tlitha Dugger
						Witley. On June 3, 1953, she married Raymond Wooten, who survives. Also
						surviving is a daughter, Mrs. David (Debbie) Mayes of Kingman; a son Raymond L.
						at home; her mother Tlitha Hinkle, her stepfather, Harold Hinkle; three sisters,
						Mrs. Dorothy Griffin of Rosedale, Mrs. Joan Hill of Danville, Ill., and Mrs.
						Linda Carter of Kingman; three half-sisters, Mrs. Diana Brook of Cates, Mrs.
						Sue McCrone of Cayuga and Mrs. Nancy Grimes of Rileysburg; two half-brothers,
						Robert Hinkle of Newport and Mike Hinkle of Cayuga; and three step-brothers,
						George Hinkle of Georgetown, Ill., Frank Hinkle of Cayuga and Carl Hinkle of
						Ohio. Services were 2 p.m. EST Saturday at Woodrow Funeral Home with the Rev.
						Larry McMillan officiating. Burial was in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.   --– jlr
