Cates - Mrs. Olivia Alice Woolwine, 66, of this community died at 12:10 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital at Logansport, where she had been a patient 10 days. She had been in failing health 5 years. A daughter of Sherman and Mallory Jumps Martin, she was born May 14, 1902, at Grape Creek, Ill. She married Curgy Woolwine at Newport Oct 26, 1921. They lived at Newport and Danville, Ill before moving to Cates in 1942. Surviving are her husband, 3 sons, Curtis of Cates, Robert of Rt 2, Kingman and Roland of Rt 1, Kingman and 12 grandchldren. Preceding her in death were two brothers and a grandson. Funeral rites are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery there. CATES, Ind. (CNS) – Mrs. Olevia Alice Woolwine, 66, of Cates, died at 12:10 a.m. today (Jan. 2, 1969) at the Memorial Hospital in Logansport where she had been a patient 10 days. She had been in ill health five years. Born May 14, 1902, in Grape Creek, she was a daughter of Sherman and Mallory Jumps Martin. She was married Oct. 26, 1921, at Newport to Curgy Woolwine who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Curtis of Cates, Robert of Kingman Route 2, and Rolland of Kingman Route 1, and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandson. She had lived in Cates since 1942 and formerly lived in Newport and Danville, Ill. Services will be at 2 p.m. (EST) Saturday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday afternoon and night.   -– jlr
