Kingman -- William (W.S.) Woodrow, age 81, well known retired Fountain county farmer, died at the Rudisill Nursing Home in Covington Saturday evening, Sept 4 1965, where he had resided for the past two and a half years. He had operated a store at Cates and had farmed in the Covington community for many years. He was married to Vina Harmon Jan 5 1903 and she preceded him in death in 1958. Mr. Woodrow is survived by an adopted daughter, Mrs. Mildred Keating of Burlington, Iowa; four brothers, Charlie of Tangier, Herbert of near Kingman, Fred of near Covington and Dewey of Covington; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Noel of Elwood and Mrs. Beulah Staggs of Cates and Crawfordsville; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sisters, in addition to his wife. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home here. The Rev. Alfred officiated and burial was in the Centennial Cemetery east of Yeddo.
