BLOOMINGDALE – Lawrence Woodrow, 83, of Bloomingdale, died Friday in Lakeview Memorial Hospital at Danville, Ill. He had been in the hospital a day. Mr. Woodrow was a retired grinder who had been employed at Harrison Steel Corp. at Attica. He was a member of the EUB Church. He was born in Fountain County on Nov. 6, 1889, a son of James Delbert “Dell” and Alice Ellen Reed Woodrow. He was married to Mabel Slater on Dec. 24, 1928. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Wilbur of Williamsport and Warren; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Keller of Covington, and three grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Woodrow Funeral Home at Kingman with the Rev. George Souza officiating. Burial will be in Tangier Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. – jlr
