Wallace - Sylvia May Wood, 72, died Friday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. She was born in Decatur , Ind, June 28, 1890, the daughter of James W. and Sarah Wagner Middleton. She married James A. Wood in Little Rock, Ark. The couple lived in Wallace during the last 10 years. She was a member of Wallace Christian Church. Survivors other than her husband include a son, James W. Zackmire of Los Angeles; a daughter, Ruth Bryant of Wallace; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place Sunday at 2 p.m. in Crumley Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Rev. John Servies of Crawfordsville will officiate. Burial will follow in Lutheran Cemetery, Wallace. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday afternoon and evening.

Mrs. Sylvia May Wood, 72, of Wallace, died Friday afternoon, Nov. 30, 1962, at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville.
She was born June 28, 1890 in Decatur, Ind., the daughter of James W. and Sarah Wagoner Middleton.
Mrs. Wood was a member of the Wallace Christian Church.
She married James A. Wood at Little Rock, Ark., in 1921. They had lived in Illinois until 10 years ago when they moved to Wallace.
Surviving are the husband, a son, James W. Zackmire, of Los Angeles; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Bryant of Wallace ; two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. John Servies officiated with burial in Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace.
