WOOD, India Baldwin - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. India J. Wood of Veedersburg, age 79, died Friday afternoon, June 27, in Golden Manor Nursing Home at Ladoga. She was born in Fountain County, July 15, 1900, the daughter of Albert B. and Sarah Jane Troxel Baldwin. March 31, 1918, she married Harold Wood, who died in 1959.

  Survivors include a daughter, Betty Whitlow of Veedersburg; a son, Lawrence of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Alberta Craig Bane of Veedersburg; a brother, Albert “Jack” Baldwin of Veedersburg; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. James Bushfield officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Cemetery. - S
