WOLFE, George - WWII

  George Wolfe Jr. of Attica, age 62, died Friday night, June 10, in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was born at Attica, November 9, 1920, the son of George Thomas and Sylvia Luther Wolfe. September 2, 1950, he married Jo Ann Van Dame, who survives. He was a member of Attica Christian Church, Masonic Lodge and American Legion, Terre Haute Scottish Rite and Shrine. An Army veteran of World War II, he worked 25 years at Harrison Steel Casting Company, where he was head of security.
  Also surviving are his mother of Attica; two daughters, Beverly Morgan of Omaha and Patricia Solomon of Williamsport; three sons, Donald of Ladoga, Brad of Attica and Stephen with the Army in Germany; three sisters, Rosemary Odora, Glenna dean Stwalley and Linda Landon, all of Attica; two brothers, Floyd W. and Frederick E., both of Attica; and ten grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. James Boudouris officiating. Military graveside rites and burial were in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
