NEWTOWN—Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Friday at the Newtown Presbyterian Church for Clint Witt, 95-year-old former resident who died Wednesday morning in the home of his son, Gordon, at Francesville. Rev. Peter Heemstra will officiate, with burial in Newtown Cemetery. Friends may call until 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Querry Funeral Home in Francesville. A native of this community, Mr. Witt was a son of James and Mary Sewell Witt. He was married in 1896 to Edith Critz of Newtown, who died in 1959. The family moved 49 years ago to Francesville, where Mr. Witt operated a store. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church here. Survivors include the son, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and three nieces and a nephew living in this community — Mrs. Carl Gray, the Misses Edith and Donnabelle Witt and Sewell Witt.   --typed by Walt W

NEWTOWN - Funeral services for Clint Witt, 95-year-old former resident who died Wednesday morning, Dec., 27, in the home of his Gordon at Francesville, were held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Presbyterian Church here. The Rev. Peter Heemstra officiated and burial was in the Newtown Cemetery.
A native of this community, Mr. Witt was a son of James and Mary Sewell Witt. He was married in 1896 to Edith Critz of Newtown and she preceded him in death in 1959. The family moved 49 years ago to Francesviiie, where Mr. Witt operated a store. He was a member of the Newtown Presbyterian Church.
