VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) – George Harrison Withrow, 60, of 810 Van Buren, died at 2 p.m. Thursday (May 13, 1971) at the Farm Bureau Co-Op in Mellott. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Born June 14, 1910, in Greenup Co., Ky., he was the son of James and Edie Applegate Withrow. He married Atha Jessee Sept. 22, 1933, in Olive Hill, Ky. Survivors Include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Grubb of Veedersburg; a son, James R. of Flemingsburg, Ky.; two brothers, James of Russellville, Ohio, and Charles of Mansfield, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Opal Jordan of Olive Hill; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Veedersburg Nazarene Church, with the Rev. Omar Walters, assisted by the Rev. Raymond Buskirk officiating. Friends may call at the Parham Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Saturday. -– jlr
