James Edward Wise, 70, a retired carpenter died Saturday at his home in Mellott following an illness of about a year. Mr. Wise was a native of Kentucky and had lived in Richland Township for about 7 years. Surviving is the wife, Etta Grubb and four sisters and two brothers all of Louisville.  Funeral services were Wednesday morning with burial in the Catholic  Cemetery at Attica.
