Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

CAYUGA, Ind., (CNS)— William Winters, 80, retired Cayuga farmer, died unexpectedly at his home at 7 p. m. Thursday, (June 21, 1956). Mr. Winters was born Oct. 4, 1875, at Perrysville, son of Samuel and Loretta Shezam Winters. He married Vesta Sare and she survives. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Grace Mitchell and Mrs. Agnes Carrigan, both of Georgetown, Nellie Sandusky of Catlin, Ill., and Daisy Sprouls of Perrysville. The body is at the Watson Funeral Home where friends may call. Services will be at 2 p. m. Sunday with the Rev. Minnie Sanders of Georgetown, officiating. Burial will be in Snoddy Cemetery.   --typed by Walt W
