WINTERS, Rachel Odland - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

COVINGTON — Rachel O. Winters, 89, formerly of West Lebanon and Covington, died July 27, 1999, in Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, Fla. Born March 8, 1910, in Centerville, S.D., she was the daughter of Erick and Synovia Fuglsby Odland. She married Charles W. Winters on Dec. 4, 1937. He preceded her in death Feb. 24, 1990. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Panama City, Fla., where she had resided since 1978. Survivors include: sons, Laurel Richard (Addie) Winters, Panama City, Fla., Edward Wayne (Arlene) Winters, Bristo, Fla., Harold Dean (Inez) Winters, Quincy, Ill., Lester Dale Winters, Covington, Larry Eugene (Donna) Winters, Georgetown; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 11 a.m., Monday at Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Bishop Arden Julian officiating. Burial was in Coal Creek Cemetery. – jlr
