John Winget, Jr., four year old son of a Purdue University graduate, drowned Monday near his home at Middletown, O., when he fell into a pool in a neighbor’s yard. His father, a 1932 graduate in the Purdue Mechanical Engineering School, was well known on the campus and was editor of the Exponent. Mr. Winget’s sister, Mrs. E. L. Klinger, left Tuesday afternoon to attend the funeral Wednesday. The child formerly resided in Lafayette with the Wingerts. – S
