WILT, Susie Napier - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Susie Napier Wilt, a resident of Hillsboro for a number of years, died at the home of her son, Dr. James Napier Wilt in Chicago, early Sunday morning, Nov. 6. She had been bedfast for the past five years and seriously ill for three months. She was the daughter of James and Ann Sears Papier and was born in Covington April 13, 1872. She graduated from the Covington School in 1889 and taught school for two years. Mrs. Wilt was married to John A. Wilt of Hillsboro in 1893 and he preceded her in death in 1949. She also was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. The only survivor is her son, Dr. Wilt. She had been living at his home since the death of her husband. A short funeral service was held in Chicago and the body was cremated.   --typed by Walt W
