Mrs. Lora E. Wilson, age 78, 517 Fourth St., died at 2:30 a. m. Thursday, Aug. 31, in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill. She had been a patient for 12 days. Mrs. Wilson, who had lived in Covington for 31 years, was a former Hillsboro resident. Born Jan. 23, 1883, south of Hillsboro, she was the daughter of John R. and Martha Bever Ellis. She was married July 18,1908, to Fred Wilson, who survives. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the United Brethren Church. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Gladys) Rayburn of Veedersburg Rt. 4; Mrs. Lavera Golden of Kingman and Mrs. Ovita Williams of Indianapolis; a son, Marvin Lough of Waynetown; a sister, Mrs. Artie Wilson of Hillsboro; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3 p. m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. Donald Wade of the Covington First Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lora E. Wilson, 78, of Covington, who died in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill., Thursday morning, were held at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro at 3 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Donald Wade, of Covington officiated and Mrs. Lucile Parnell, of Hillsboro sang, "Going Down The Valley," accompanied by Mrs. Lucy Crumley at the organ.
Pall bearers were: Robert Bush, of Covington; Fred Rayburn, of Veedersburg; Albert McClain and Jay McClain, of Attica; Reuben White, of Williamsport and Clyde White of Hillsboro. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.
