Veedersburg - Lloyd T. Wilson, 76 ,Veedersburg died at 7:02 a.m. Monday August 25, 1997 in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. He was born in Fountain County June 27, 1921 son of Clyde and Bertha E. Bowman Wilson. He married Marjorie Florey April 25, 1943 in Crawfordsville. She survives. He served in the US Coast Guard during WWII. He retired from the Veteran's Administration Medical Center, Danville, Ill in 1977. He was a supervisor in the engineering department. He was a member of the Sterling Christian Church, Veedesrburg, American Legion Post #288, was past master and 50-year member of F&AM Lodge #491. Surviving besides the wife are the son, Lloyd T Wilson, Jr; a daughter, Jodith A (David) Leek, a brother, Edgar Wilson, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg with Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial in Rockfield. The American Legion held gravesite services. Preferred memorial to American Diabetes Association.
