Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

ATTICA – Jesse Francis Wilson, age 62, of Attica, died at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette where he had been a patient two days. He had been ill two years and seriously ill since April. Mr. Wilson was born at Attica on Aug. 18, 1908, the son of Israel and Lizzie Stonebraker Wilson. He married Ruby M. Lee at Crown Point on June 29, 1929. A life resident of Attica, he attended Attica schools and was a barber. He was a veteran of World War II in the Army Medical Corps and had served overseas. He was a member of the Attica United Methodist Church, charter member of the VFW for 25 years, charter member of the Eagles Lodge and a member of Moose Lodge all of Attica. Survivors include: his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Nelson (Jean) Pruitt of Attica, Mrs. David (Anne) Morgan of Williamsport and Mrs. Robert (Kay) Whisler of Boswell Rt. 1; two sons, Robert of Williamsport and William Ray of Attica; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Brown of Attica Rt. 3 and Mrs. Ida Mae Hickman of Attica; two brothers, Joe of Attica and Ercel of East Chicago; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Desutter Funeral Home here. The Rev. Harold Bachert officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica.   -– jlr
