Wingate—Mrs. Gladys Wilson, 82, of Rt. 1, Wingate, died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday in culver Hospital, Crawfordsville,

She was born at Odell and was a 1914 graduate of Wingate High School. In 1917 at Wingate, she married Edgar E. Wilson and he survives.

Mrs. Wilson and her husband farmed for many years in the Wingate area. She was a member of Wingate United Methodist Church and WSCS of the church.

Surviving with the husband are a son, Donald Kenneth Wilson of Wingate; and two daughters, Mrs. David (Ruth Irene) Richie, and Mrs. Willis (Mary Jane) Surface, both of Wingate.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Three sisters preceded her in death.

Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wingate, the Rev. Lou Synder officiating. – thanks to S
