  Williamsport—Dorothy E. “Dottie” Miley Wilson, 89, formerly of 207 Bluff St., Williamsport, and a resident of Meadow Heights Nursing Center the past three years, died in the emergency room at Community Hospital, Williamsport, shortly after arrival at 1:03 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 1989. She had been in ill health the past five years.

  She was born Nov. 2, 1899 at Bremen, Ohio, the daughter of Edward C. and Stella Miley. She lived in Hammond before moving to Williamsport 50 years ago. She was married in 1921 in Ohio to Wilbur Charles “Bill” Wilson, who preceded her in death in 1961. He had been an interior contractor. She and her husband owned Wilson’s Roller Rink in Williamsport for many years.

  She was a member of Williamsport Presbyterian Church, a former member of OES, Williamsport chapter, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 3318 of Attica.

  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Lucille) Bracken, Williamsport; one brother, Kenneth Miley, Lake City, Fla.; three granddaughters, Mrs. Jasper (Dorothy) Wesley, Williamsport; Mrs. Larry (Paige) Samlaska, Covington, and Mrs. Cindi Hunt, Veedersburg; five great grandchildren and even great great grandchildren.

  Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today (Friday) at Fisher Funeral Home, Williamsport. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Fisher Chapel with the Rev. Carl Stetler officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Williamsport. - thanks so much to "S"
