Donald R. Wilson of RR 3, Veedersburg, age 44, died suddenly about noon Monday, April 11, at his home. He was born at Waynetown, April 2, 1939, the son of Albert Earl and Mabelrose Beck Wilson. May 25, 1963, he married Caroline Groce, who survives. Wilson was a member of Waynetown Masonic Lodge, a 1957 graduate of Waynetown High School and had been a mechanic in Waynetown and a farmer.

  Also surviving are a son and daughter, Donald Eugene and Angela Kay, both at home; his mother, Mabelrose Small of Hillsboro; and a brother, Robert of Waynetown.

  Funeral services were held this morning (Thursday) at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Harry Hybarger officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. – thanks to S

Veedersburg - Donald R. Wilson, 44, of Rt 3, Veedersburg died suddenly around noon Monday in his home.  A resident of Fountain County all of his married life, he was a member of Waynetown Masonic Lodge 302 F&AM and a 1957 graduate of Waynetown High School.  A former mechanic for Mitton Citgo Service at Waynetown, he farmed most of his life.

Mr. Wilson  was born April 2, 1939 at Waynetown, a son of Albert Earl and Mabelrose Beck Wilson.  He married Caroline Groce May 25, 1963 at Waynetown. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Mabelrose Small of Hillsboro; a son, Donald Eugene, at home; a daughter, Angela Kay at home and a brother, Robert Wilson of Waynetown.  He was preceded in death by his father in 1954 and a brother, larry in 1980.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Harry Hybarger officiating.  Masonic rites will be given at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.  Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
