Dee Wilson, 80, a resident of the vicinity of Hillsboro the greater part of his life died at his home near here at 3 p.m. Tuesday. He had been in declining health for the past 4 years and bedfast for many months. Born Sept 4, 1873 at Glasgow, KY the son of Joshua and Fanny Bybee Wilson he came to Indiana when a young man and was married to Artie Ellis of Hillsboro March 14, 1901. One daughter Mrs. Lucile Hines was born to this marriage and preceded her father in death Nov 11, 1928. He was a member of the Prairie Chapel Christian Church of near Hillsboro and had been engaged in farming and was a carpenter. The survivors are the widow and a granddaughter Miss Doris Mae Hines at home; three brothers, Fred Wilson, Covington; Otis Wilson, Hillsboro; Clyde Wilson, Veedersburg and two sisters, Mrs. Nettie White near Hillsboro and Mrs. China Gill of Tompkinsville, Ky. Funeral services were held from the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro Thursday afternoon with Rev. Riffle Howard of Cates officiating and burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. – kbz
