Clyde Wilson, 80 of Hillsboro, Ind. died Friday (June 7, 1968) at the Carman Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. He had been a patient there for nearly a year. Born August 26, 1887 at Summershade, KY he was the son of J. Thomas and Fannie Bybee Wilson. He was married Sept 21, 1913 to Bertha Bowman, who preceded him in death. Mr. Wilson lived in Hillsboro for 65 years. He was retired from the state and county highway departments. Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Catherine) Russell and Mrs. James (Ruth) McCutchan both of Veedersburg, Ind; two sons, Lloyd Wilson of Veedersburg and Edgar Wilson of Crawfordsville. one brother, Fred Wilson of Covington, 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Services were SUnday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. William Wilhite officiated with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.

HILLSBORO - Clyde Wilson, age 80, retired county and state highway and local post office employee, died at 10 a,m. Friday, June, 7, in Carmen Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. He had been in failing health for a year."
A son of J. Thomas and Fannie Bybee Wilson, he was born August 26, 1887, at Summershade, Ky. He was married in Covington on Sept. 21, 1913, to Bertha Bowman, who died in 1966. He was a member of the EUB Church.
Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Kathryn) Bessell, and Mrs. James (Ruth) McCutchan of Veedersburg, two sons,
Edgar Wilson of Crawfordsville and Lloyd Wilson of Veedersburg, 15 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and one brother, Fred Wilson at Covington. A son, three sisters and two brothers are deceased.
Funeral services were held at 2 p,m. Sunday, June 9, at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home here. The Rev. Bill Wilhite officiated and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.
