WILSON, Clarence J.

  Clarence J. Wilson of Attica, age 85, died Tuesday morning, April 19, in Home Hospital at Lafayette. He was born at Goodland, May 1, 1897, the son of Wiley and Ada Marlow Wilson. He first married in 1917 to Marie Bennett, who died in 1952. June 11, 1953, he married Eva Ricketts Wood, who died February 21, 1982. Wilson was a member of Attica United Methodist Church and a 60-year member of Wabash Masonic Lodge. He was an Army veteran of World War I.

  Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Carlson of Monticello; a son, Dorwin Lee of Holiday, Florida; two stepsons, Williams R. Wood and Richard Wood, both of Attica; a brother, Dewey of Attica; four grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two great granddaughters.

  Funeral services were held Friday morning at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. R. Larry Smith officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery, east of Attica. – thanks to S
