Hillsboro - Mrs. Bertha Wilson, 75, resident of Hillsboro and vicinity for 60 years died at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Home Hospital, Lafayette. She was born Oct 4, 1890 in Newton, Ill, a daughter of Lloyd and Anna Keys Bowman. She married Clyde Wilson sept 21, 1913 at Covington. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Hillsboro Christian church and missionary society and also belonged to Cain Township Home Demonstration Club. A son, Earl, preceded her in death. Surviving besides the husband are four children, Mrs. kathryn Wilson Bessell of Veedersburg; Edgar D. Wilson of Crawfordsville; Lloyd T. Wilson of Veedersburg and Mrs. Ruth Wilson McCutchan of Veedersburg; a brother, Len S. Bowman of Crawfordsville; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Whilhite officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 tonight.

Mrs. Bertha Wilson, age 75, a resident of Hillsboro and vicinity for 60 years, died at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Home Hospital m Lafayette.
Mrs. Wilson was born Oct. 4, 1890 in Newton, Ill., the daughter of Lloyd and Anna Keys Bowman. She married Clyde Wilson Sept. 21, 1913 in Covington and he survives. She was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church and its missionary society and the Cain Township Home Demonstration Club.
Surviving, in addition to the husband, are: four children, Mrs. Kathryn Wilson Bessell of Veedersburg, Edgar D. Wilson of Crawfordsville, Lloyd T. Wilson of Veedersburg, and Mrs. Ruth Wilson McCutchan, also of Veedersburg; one brother, Len S. Bowman of Crawfordsville; 15 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Crumley & Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. Bill Willhite officiated and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.
