She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed in the Fountain County Section of Local History at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Delbert F. Wilmarth, 69, of 408 S. Mill St. Veedersburg, died Tuesday (Dec. 9, 1975) at Lake View Memorial Hospital in Danville. Born March 15, 1906, in Iroquois, S.D., he was the son of Delbert and Zadie Wilmarth. On May 17, 1930, in South Bend, Ind., he married Ruth Crandall, who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. David (Diana) Elmore of Indianapolis; two grandsons a brother, Donald of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and a sister, Mrs. Al (Margaret) Lunow of Mercedes, Cal. Mr. Wilmarth recently retired after having owned and operated the Wilmarth Ben Franklin Store in Veedersburg for about 25 years. He was a director of the Veedersburg State Bank, active in the Veedersburg Lions Club, American Legion Charles Forrest Post 288, and had served as a captain in the Army Air Force in World War II. Services at the Parham Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Wood officiating. Burial in Rockfield Cemetery.  jlr

  Services for Delbert F. Wilmarth, 69, of 408 S. Mill St. in Veedersburg who died at the Lakeview Hospital in Danville, Ill. at noon on Tuesday, will be held at the Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg at 2 p.m. today.
  Mr. Wilmarth was the former owner and operator of the Veedersburg Ben Franklin Store for 25 years and was also a director of the Veedersburg State Bank. He was a member of the Veedersburg Lions Club and the Charles Forrest Post #288 of the American Legion. He served as Army Air Force Captain in World War II.
  He was born on March 16, 1906 in Iroquois, South Dakota and married Ruth Crandall on May 17, 1930 in South Bend. She survives.
  Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. David (Diane) Elmore of Indianapolis, two grandsons; one brother, Donald of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and one sister, Mrs. Al (Margaret) Lunow of Mercedes, Calif.
  Wilmarth had recently retired.
  Rev. Charles Wood will officiate for the services and burial will follow in the Rockfield Cemetery.
