Funeral services for Mary Williamson, 72, former Kingman resident who died Saturday night at a Marion, Ind. hospital were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Rush Creek Church. Burial was at Rush Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Williamson was born March 28, 1875, near Tangier, daughter of Miles and Rebecca Madden. She was married to Dr. Albert Williamson and they resided here before moving to Indianapolis 40 years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John Sanders, Marion, with whom she had made her home recently and a brother, Lloyd Madden, Kingman. -- transcribed by kbz

Mrs. Mary Madden Williamson, 72, died in the hospital at Marion, Ind., Saturday night, Oct. 4, after several years of illness.
She was born near Tangier in Parke County, March 28, 1875, the daughter of Miles M. and Rebekah Madden. She was married to Dr. Albert Wilkinson and they resided in Kingman for several years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John Sanders, Marion, with whom she made her home; a brother, Lloyd Madden of Kingman; a granddaughter and a great granddaughter.
The body was brought to the home of her brother in Kingman Monday evening and funeral services were held from the Rush Creek Church at one o’clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in Rush Creek Cemetery with Owens Funeral Home, Marion, in charge. – thanks to “S”
