Homer Williamson of Milford, Illinois, age 77, died Monday afternoon, September 27, in Iroquois Memorial Hospital at Watseka, Illinois. He was born at Newport, September 10, 1905, the son of Ira and Liza Smith Williamson. February 20, 1936, he married Madlin Thomas, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Geraldine Bryant of Milford and Shirley Peirson of McAllen, Texas; five sons, Homer Jr. of Milford, Ira of Watseka, Jack and Joel, both in California, and Richard of Roodhouse, Illinois; a stepson, Carl Lewis of Texas; a half-sister, Lavon Clarkson of Kingman; a stepbrother, Louis Montgomery of Ohio; 30 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at Barker Funeral Home with Rev. Neil Larimore officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery. - jlr
