Yeddo, April 1, Arch Williams of this place received word Tuesday evening that his father, Truman WILLIAMS had been hit by an automobile while crossing the road in front of his home near Georgetown, Ill Mr. Williams was removed to Lakeview hospital but lived a few hours. Mr. Williams was born in 1856 near Catlin, Ill but spent several years in Fountain County and was well known here. After several years of farming near Yeddo, he retired and moved back near Georgetown and was living there at the time of his death. His wife died about 12 years ago. Survivors are two sons Arch and Homer Williams of Dayton, Oh one foster daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Jones of Fairmount, one brother, Charles of Danville, Ill; and 5 grandchildren and hosts of other relatives and friends. Plans for the funeral are indefinite pending word from the son in Dayton, Ohio. - kbz

After several years of farming near Yeddo, he retired and moved back near Georgetown Ill and was living there at the time of his death.  His wife died about 13 years ago.
