Mrs. Ruth M. Williams, of RR 1, Kingman age 84, died Friday Oct 6, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, Illinois. Vermilion County (Illinois) Coroner Gary Ballard said a preliminary report indicated death was due to head injuries when she was struck by a vehicle near her home. Mrs. Williams was born October 1, 1894, in Fountain County, the daughter of Lewis and Rosa Drollinger Tinder. Dec 15, 1912, she was married to Arch Williams, who died November 13, 1959. She was a member of Scots Prairie Church, its Ladies Aid Society and Bonebrake Cemetery League. Surviving are a son, Harold Lee Williams of RR 2, Veedersburg; a grandson and granddaughter (sic - probably great granddaughter). Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman with Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial in Bonebrake Cemetery south of Veedersburg.
