WILLIAMS, Orpha Wilson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

-- Waynetown - Mrs. Orpha Williams, 79, died at 3:45 p.m. at the Small Nursing Home in Waynetown where she had been a patient for five years. She was born Sept 20, 1886 in Fountain County to John Calvin and Marium Wilson. She married John H. Williams in June 1908 and lived on a farm near Wallace. He died Aug 28, 1954. She was educated at the Livengood School and was a member of Wallace Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Harold Sigler of Veedersburg; a son, Boyd Williams of near Wallace; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Aron Wilson; and a sister, Mrs. Alice Cook. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Servies Funeral Home, Rev. Dobbs of Veedersburg will officiate. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:30 p.m. Saturday.   -- kbz
