WILLIAMS, Nettie Bruce - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Nettie Williams, 72, recently a resident of Veedersburg died Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at her home in Attica.  She had been taken ill during the preceding night. Death was attributed to a heart ailment.

Mrs. Williams was born Oct 2, 1875 near Veedersburg, the daughter of George and Arilla Pazley Bruce.  She was first married to Leonard Pugh on December 18, 1896 and after his death she was married to John

Williams May 29, 1947 who survives.  Besides her husband, she is survived by three grandchildren, Valla Mae Herche of Alaska; DeRay of Massachusetts; and Evon of Massachusetts; and three great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two sons, Elvin and Archie.  Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Fishero Funeral Home with Rev. Milford Knowles in charge.  Burial will be in Riverside cemetery near Attica.   -- transcribed by kbz
