ATTICA — Julie Ann Williams, 41, 407 E. Pine St., Attica, died at 9:20 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, 2000 in Home Hospital, Lafayette, following a six year bout with cancer. She was born Sept. 4, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Stanley F. and Patricia Ann Parker Williams. She was raised in Cincinnati and graduated from Anderson High School. She received her bachelor of art degree from Indiana University in 1980 and her masters degree from Purdue University in 1985. She had resided in Attica since 1980. She was a foreign language teacher for Attica High School, teaching Spanish and French. She had served as a former girls softball, basketball and volleyball coach. She had also served as an assistant athletic director while at Attica. She was an active member of the West Lebanon Christian Church, a member of Kappa Kappa Kappa Sorority in Attica, a former member of Harrison Hill Country Club and had played on the ladies golf league. Survivors include: her mother, Pat Williams Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Keith (Susan) Williams Cincinnati, Ohio; and her pet dog, Dakota and her pet cat, Lucy. She was preceded in death by her father. Visitation was from 3-7 p.m. Sunday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Funeral services were Tuesday in T. P. White Funeral Homes, Cincinnati (Mt. Washington), Ohio with gravesite services in Arlington Memorial Gardens, Mt. Healthy, Ohio. Memorial contributions may best be expressed to Dollars for Scholars "Julie A.
