ARLINGTON, Va. — Hilda Marie
Williams died Monday, May 22, 2006 in Arlington, Va. from complications
associated with heart disease. She was born May 1, 1936 in Armstrong, ill., the
daughter of Dorothy Hess McGary and Arthur Hess. She was married to Lester
Martin, who preceded in death and Mike Williams. She graduated from Veedersburg
High School and attended Hanover College. She worked for General Electric Corp.
in Cincinnati for 23 years as a financial analyst. She moved to Arlington, Va.
two years ago to be closer to her family. She was an avid reader, investor and
enjoyed the arts. She will be missed by all of her friends and family.
Survivors include: her children, Donna Martin Kowalsky, Front Royal, Va., Duane
Martin, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Lester Martin Jr., Arlington, Va.; her siblings,
Hazel McSloy, Carrollton, Texas, Henry Hess, Howell, Mich., and Becky Goings,
Veedersburg; three grandchildren, Angela Rice, Alexandria, Va., Paul Wilkins,
Alexandria, Va. and John Martin, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two
great-grandchildren, Myla and Marin Rice. She was also preceded in death by her
