LAFAYETTE — E. Louise (Snider) Williams, 90, 300 Valley St., Lafayette, and a former resident of Attica, died at 12 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2000 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette, following an extended illness. She was born Jan. 9, 1910 in Tippecanoe County, the daughter of Albert and Anna Shultz Snider. She married Charles E. Williams June 29, 1928 in Attica. He preceded in death Feb. 21, 1986. She had lived in Attica from 1928 until moving to Lafayette in 1990. She along with her husband, Charles, owned and operated Williams Jewelry Store in Attica for 25 years until retiring in 1978. She was a member of Attica First United Methodist Church, a life member of Elks Lodge #143 of Lafayette, Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary of Lafayette, and a former member of the Harrison Hills Country Club where she belonged to the Ladies Golf Association and West Central Golf Association. Survivors include: a son, Charles F. (Tootie) Williams, Lafayette; two granddaughters, Debbra Glover, Dayton and Shirley Wagner, Carmel; and four great-grandchildren, Ryan Glover, Andrea Wagner, Danielle Wagner and Charles Wagner. She was also preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with Pastor G. Scott Pattison officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica First United Methodist Church. – jlr
