COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) — Charles J. Williams, 82, a life resident and farmer in Warren County, died at 6:30 a. m. today (Jan. 20, 1962) at the State Hospital at Logansport, where he had been a patient four years. He was the son of Walter W. and Sarah Butler Williams and was born Aug. 2, 1879, near Marshfield, Ind. He married Elsie White in 1898 and later married Celia Wilkins Ludlow, who survives, Jan. 20, 1921. Survivors include a son, Lee Williams of Charleston, Ill.; a step-son, Marvin Ludlow of Covington; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. A son and a brother preceded him in death. He was a member of the Veedersburg Christian Church. He also belonged to the Redmen's Lodge and Pocahontas Lodge, both of Marshfield and now inactive. The body is at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home at Covington where friends may call after noon tomorrow. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery at West Lebanon, Ind. The Rev. Douglas Dickey will officiate at services. Further arrangements are incomplete.

Williams, 82, a life resident and farmer of Warren County, who died at a Logansport hospital yesterday. The Rev. Douglas Dickey will officiate, with burial in the West Lebanon, Ind., cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after noon today.
