Mrs. Daisy Willett, 77, of Hillsboro, died at the Al!en Nursing Home in Attica at 8 a.m. Tuesday. She had been at the nursing home since June 1961.
Mrs. Willett was born Jan. 22, 1885 at Corydon, Ind., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Lone. She was married to George Willett, who died July 5, 1949. A part of their married life was spent in the Dakotas and in Benton and Warren Counties, Indiana. She moved to Hillsboro 26 years ago. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include one sister at New Albany, Ind., and a half sister, in Dakota and two nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Crumley, Funeral Home in Hillsboro at 2 p.m. Thursday with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. David Canen, of Kansas City, Mo., former pastor of the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene, officiated.
Pallbearers were Walter Myer, Byron Allen, Marion R. Cooper, Alva Snyder, Leland Parnell and Jack Ross.
