WILLETT, Clive - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Clive Willett, son of William and Emily Shade Willett was born April 29, 1899 in Warren County.  At the age of 13, the family moved to the Stone Bluff community where he spent the rest of his life.  He was a graduate of the Veedersburg HS.  In Stone Bluff he met Faye Helms and on July 3, 1919 they were united in marriage. To this union were born the follow children: Mrs. Rosemary Robbins now of Mace and William of Stone Bluff.  He was employed at Harrison Steel Castings Co at the time of his death.  He made his personal commitment of his life to Christ at the hospital before his death.  Death claimed him early Saturday morning Aug 15, 1959 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Illinois at the age of 60 years 3 months and 15 days.  He is survived by the widow, the two children two brothers, Clifford and Ivan of Hillsboro and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Hamm of Smith Valley and 7 grandchildren: Linda and Patsy Robbins and Diana, Billy, Monty, Robbin and Alsa Willett.  The Fishero Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. The funeral was held at the Stone Bluff EUB Church with Rev. Conley E. Rowland officiating. Interment was at Osborn Prairie Cemetery. – kbz
