Hillsboro, July 17 -- Wilkinson well known in Montgomery and Fountain counties, passed away at his home here Friday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock after a long illness of complications. He was born on a farm near Alamo,
August 16, 1851, the son of James and Eliza Wilkinson. He was married to Miss Mary Rogers Nov 2, 1879 and moved to a farm near Wallace, where he resided for a number of years. He later moved to Crawfordsville where he was engaged in the grocery business for several years. He had resided in Hillsboro for some time. He was a member of the Christian Church.

Surviving are the widow; five daughters, Mrs. Elmer Lambdin of Veedersburg; Mrs. Clifford McClure of Yountsville; Mrs. Rynear Rynearson of Anderson; Mrs. Don Taylor of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Forest Bolen of
Veedersburg; one son, Orvill of Hillsboro; three brothers, George of Crawfordsville; Joseph of Indianapolis; and Lon of Attica and three sisters, Mrs. Guy Livengood of Waynetown; Mrs. Sherman Dwiggins of Attica and Mrs. Lilly Fye of Hlllsboro. Two children died in infancy and one son, Claude was killed in the world war.   --- transcribed by kbz
