Mrs. Beulah M. Wilkinson, 20, wife of Charles Wilkinson died at 4:10 o'clock Friday afternoon at Culver hospital approximately an hour and a half after she had drank a small quantity of carbolic acid in an attempt to taker her own life. Relatives were unable to advance any reason for the act, stating she had been in good health and apparently had no troubles which might prompt her to commit suicide.

Hearing a peculiar noise in the room, the elder Mrs. Wilkinson rushed to the front of the home from the kitchen to meet her daught-in-law walking unsteadily from the room with a bottle containing the poison in her hand. A physician was called and the young husband was summoned immediately and an ambulance was called to remove her to the hospital.
