WILKINSON, Decator

Decator Wilkinson well known retired farmer of this city died at 8 o'clock Friday night at Culver Union Hospital. His death was caused by complications and followed an illness which lasted since June 1925. Mr. Wilkinson was born on June 11, 1854 in Fountain County the son of James and Eliza Wilkinson. On January 20, 1876, he married Emma P. Thompson. Mr. Wilkinson spent his life in Fountain and Montgomery counties, moving to Crawfordsville from his farm about 10 years ago. He was a member of the Christian Church of this city and belonged to the Odd Fellows lodge at Alamo. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Sylvia and son Fred, five grandchildren and five brothers and five sisters. The funeral will be held from the late home on West Main Street at 2 o'clock on Mondy afternoon. The Rev. JH Wilson of the First Christian Church will officiate and burial in Waynetown cemetery. - kbz
