ATTICA — Claudine M. “Tiny”
(Bailey) Wilkinson, 72, 600 N. Sixth St., Attica, died at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday,
Nov. 15, 2000 at her residence. She had been ill with cancer for the past 1 1/2
years. She was born Aug. 7, 1928 in Fountain County, the daughter of Clyde and
Mary Alice Dixon Bailey. She married Richard Clyde Wilkinson Aug. 9, 1947 in
Covington. He preceded in death Sept. 21, 1999. She attended school in
Covington and had resided most of her life in Attica. She was a homemaker and
had worked at Radio Material Corp. in Attica for six years. She was a former
member of the Attica Church of the Nazarene and while living in Colfax,
attended the Colfax Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed listing to gospel music.
Survivors include: two sons, Jerry (Sharon) Wilkinson, Attica and Lawrence
(Tina) Wilkinson, Colfax; two daughters, Belinda (Frank Alan) Vickery,
Veedersburg and Karol (Michael) Hays, Marshfield; two sisters, Naomi Kirby and
Claudine's twin sister, Nadine Lee, both of Huntingburg; 14 grandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren; six brothers-in-law; eight sisters-in-law; and several
nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son, a grandson, two
brothers, four sisters, her parents and her stepfather. Funeral services were
at 1 p.m. Nov. 18 in Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with the Rev. Howard Barefoot
officiating. Burial was in Union Christian Cemetery, near Veedersburg Memorial
