Veedersburg, Feb 20 - John Wilhite, 60 died of stomach trouble at his home Monday at 8 o'clock a.m. He moved here with the family 5 years ago from Mellott. He is survived by his wife, one son, Edgar of Mellott five daughters namely, Mrs. Freeman of Stone Bluff. Mrs. Leonard Brimberry of Cates, Mrs. Everett Harper of Mellott, Mrs. Cecil Bowles of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Clark Hershberger of this city There are also five stepchildren. Funeral services were conducted at Mellott Christian Church at 2 o'clock Wednesday. Burial at Willhite Family Cemetery near Wingate.
