Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Veedersburg — (CNS) -- Charles G. Wildt, 80, a retired jeweler and resident of Veedersburg for 40 years, was found dead in bed at his home in French Lick, Ind., Wednesday (Aug. 1, 1951). He had left Veedersburg three years ago. Mr. Wildt was last seen by his neighbors Tuesday afternoon. He was born Dec. 22, 1870 at Union Center, Ind., and came to Veedersburg about 1908. He was married Nov. 10, 1910 at Veedersburg to Mrs. Myrtle Walter, who preceded him in death in 1947. He was a member of the Veedersburg Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge. Surviving is a stepdaughter, Mrs. Frances Smith of Michigan City, Ind. The body was returned to the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg where it will remain for services at 1 p. m. DST Friday. Masonic services will be conducted. Burial will be in the Rockfield Cemetery at Veedersburg.   --typed by Walt W
