VEEDERSBURG — Phyllis M.
(Reynolds) Wilderman, 63, 416 Home St., Veedersburg, died at 6:50 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006 in Home Hospital, Lafayette. She was born Nov. 20, 1942
in Mecca, the daughter of Irving and Delitha (Lawson) Reynolds. She married
Mark Anthony Wilderman June 25, 1979 in Williamsport. He survives. She was
raised in Mecca, graduating from Mecca High School in 1960. She had resided in
Veedersburg for the past six years. She was a member of the Veedersburg Church
of God. She was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and a NASCAR fan with Jeff
Gordon being her favorite driver. She enjoyed reading, traveling, listening to
country music and watching movies. Survivors, besides the husband, are: three
daughters, Cheryl (Bruce) Lutes, Findlay, Ohio, Cindy (Randy) Ellis, Attica,
and Rhonda (Eric) Clinton, Shreveport, La.; a son, Kenneth (Lisa) Sheetz,
Wallace; two brothers, Joe (Barb) Atkinson and Leon (Vicque) Atkinson, both of
Montezuma; a sister, Patty (Mike) Tarwacki, North Liberty; 14 grandchildren;
and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a
brother, Harold Ray Atkinson. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday in Maus
Funeral Home, Attica, with Bishop Travis D. Girdler officiating. Burial was in
Oakland Cemetery, Montezuma. Online condolences may be sent to
