James H. Wilder, former resident of Veedersburg died at 8 p.m. Feb 11, 958 in the University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  Mr. Wilder had lived in Columbus for about 25 years.  He was 79 years old.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nannie Wilder; three children: Carl of Zanesville, Ohio; Gladys Crane of Indianapolis; Mrs. Maple Crouse of South Bend, Ind; a brother, Roy (Speck) Wilder of Portland Arch; a sister, Hazel Linker of Santa Barbara Calif. He was foreman of the Brick yard at one time and was associated with the late James Hendrix in his machine shop.  The body was returned to Veedersburg Thursday afternoon to the Fishero Funeral Home where friends could call after 4. Services were held this morning (Friday) at Fishero’s. Burial in Rockfield. – kbz
