Attica – Mrs. Harry Wilbur, 85, formerly of Attica died Sunday in the home of her daughter at Lebanon, Ky. Mrs. Wilbur suffered a broken hip in a fall in July and had been failing since then. Born in Attica, she spent most of her life here, moving to Sarasota, Fla upon her husband’s retirement several years ago. For the past year or two they had resided with their daughter, Mrs. Frank Orwin at Lebanon. Mr. Wilbur was a clerk in the Attica Post Office for many years. She was active in the Attica Presbyterian Church for many years. Also surviving is a son, Dr. Harold Wilbur of DeLand, Fla. Burial will be at Lebanon, KY.

Mrs. Frank Orwin of Lebanon, Ky has notified Mrs. James A. Coffing that their mother, Mrs. Harry Wilbur who is making her home with them, had fallen out of bed and sustained a broken hip. She underwent surgery in a hospital at Lebanon. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur lived in Attica before Wilbur retired and they lived at Sarasota, Fla until moving to their daughter’s home. She also stated that her brother’s wife, Mrs. Harold Wilbur of DeLand, Fla has been in a hospital after being injured while she and her husband were watching a parade. One of the horses in a parade bolted as Mrs. Wilbur was attempting to get out of its path and she was kicked in the back.

Dr. Harold Wilbur, former Attican and son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wilbur is quite ill in a hospital in DeLand, Fla. Dr. Wilbur recently suffered a series of strokes.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wilbur and John Wilbur were in Lafayette Thursday to see their father, Ben Wilbur, who continued to be seriously ill at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
