VEEDERSBURG — Gladys Wilbur, 77, of Rt. 3, Veedersburg, was pronounced dead on arrival at Fountain County Ambulance Service offices here at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday after being fatally stricken while riding into town with her husband. Gladys Wilbur, 77, of Rt. 3, Veedersburg, died Wednesday afternoon. She was a member of the Veedersburg United Methodist Church. A daughter of Chris and Anna Anderson Dell, she was born at Veedersburg on Aug. 17,1901. She married Everett Wilbur on June 25, 1922. He survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Larry L. (Frances June) Boger of Stillwater, Okla., whose husband is president of Oklahoma State University, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Glen Youngblood and Rev. Harold Nolting will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Saturday.   --typed by Walt W

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. – Services will be at 2:30 p.m. EST Sunday at the Dickerson Funeral Home for Mrs. Gladys Wilbur, 77, of Veedersburg Route 3, who died Wednesday (Nov. 15, 1978) en route to the ambulance service office. The Rev. Glen Youngblood and the Rev. Harold Nolting will officiate, and burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery near Covington. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Born Aug. 17, 1901 in Veedersburg, she was the daughter of Chris and Anna Anderson Dell. On June 25, 1922 in Veedersburg, she was married to Everett Wilbur, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Frances June Boger and Dr. Larry L. Boger, president of Oklahoma State University, and two grandchildren, all of Stillwater, Okla. She was a member of the Veedersburg United Methodist Church.  – jlr
